Mr Ee Beng Guan a senior member of the Bar was admitted as advocate and solicitor in the High Court of Malaya in 1981.
Upon his admission to the Malayan Bar, he worked as an advocate and solicitor primarily as advocate before joining a major conglomerate with business interest in South East Asia, Hong Kong, China and United States of America. He was its head of legal and responsible for legal compliance and secretarial matters for the group which includes numerous listed entities in various countries until his retirement in March 2015. He returned to legal practice in 2015. He is immensely experienced in civil commercial corporate and compliance matters. He has advised and handled numerous multi million dollars transactions domestically and internationally. He is also well verse in the field of financial services. Having served in the private sector for 30 years, he understands the needs of businesses and is therefore able to provide sound practical advice for businesses.
As an advocate, he has acted as counsel at all levels. He is proficient in English and Malay languages.
Ms. Wai Cheng Cheng, the founder of Cheng Cheng & Co. was admitted to the Malayan Bar in 2010. She started her career in one of the major law firm in Kuala Lumpur where she was attached to the real estate department. She subsequently joined a major real estate law firm where she headed it’s real estate practice consisting of 20 lawyers. With a decade’s experience, she started Cheng Cheng & Co in 2022.
In addition to her expertise in real estate practice, she is also well verse in financial, banking, civil, commercial and corporate matters and over the years has advised listed and unlisted entities and handled multi million dollars real estate and corporate transactions.
She is the vice chairman of Young Entrepreneur Committee, Klang Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry Central Committee of Youth Entrepreneurs Committee in The Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia and a member of KL Selangor Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry. She is proficient in English, Chinese and Malay languages and fluent in various Chinese dialects.
